Overview

Travel Curious wants to proactively notify our Reseller partners about data changes using a real-time notification system. Instead of you, the Reseller, constantly polling for new information, Travel Curious will push updates to you whenever an event occurs, improving efficiency. This system is ideal for event-driven architectures, where real-time communication is essential.

The Notifications API allows you as the Reseller to configure callback notifications via webhooks based on a set of triggered events and operations. This enables you to receive changes related to specific data, eliminating the risk of stale information, reducing overhead, and allowing for near-instantaneous updates.

Currently, you can register to get Channel Binding, Supplier, Product, Rate, Availability, Price Schedule and Booking notifications.

Note that the specific data change will not be included in the notification. Instead, you will receive a message and will need to retrieve the updated information from the existing API endpoints.

As an API user looking to receive automatic notifications about data updates, you’ll need to implement the Travel Curious Notification Registry and the Travel Curious Notifications service. You can find more details in the following documentation sections.
